I am a carpenter, was complete and went back and forth between Table Saw Ridgid and Bosch. Even though I used the first Ridgid, Bosch after graduation for a few months, I decided to buy it. This saw is more expensive than the Ridgid but I must say that it’s worth the extra dollars. Very sturdy and accurate (at the time of first installation). Increased severity of the stand is brilliant and although I do not mind the two step folding saws, this saw always puts a smile on my face when it is used to increase the cabin. It is so simple that even a child could operate.
The saw is higher than your standard table saws with about 3 inches. It does not seem much, but it felt strange at first after using conventional saws for a long time. It comes quickly to use it anyway.
The fence is dead, and have soft start is a nice addition to prevent overloading.
The saw is heavy, but is easily loaded into the bed of your truck / van by putting the handles on the bed and push it back.
One of the worst features of this saw the wheels. They are not big enough to transfer the stairs. Yes, I repeat, will scratch the metal bars behind the wheel often. Do not try to extend that overlooked the finished stairs. I am surprised that the engineers of the Bosch did not recognize this.
Overall, however, this seemed the best laptop I’ve seen used in recent years.
